Re: Nearing the First Weigh In
Hello Everyone,
This past weekend I traveled and the trip was extended a day by mother nature, as it was impossible to connect through Chicago on Monday Night. So after 5 hours in an airport, I was rebooked for a nonstop flight on Tuesday. Everything worked its self out and the airline took care of me.
Over the weekend, I put in 12 to 15 hour days were eating healthy was a challenge but I didn't do too bad, since Applebee's has a healthy options and they were open late. I could have done away with eating at 10 or 11 at night, but it was the best that I could do with my schedule. A couple of meals that I tried at Applebee's was their Napa Chicken and Portabella and the Spicy Lime Shrimp. Both were good.
It was good to be home, but I arrived to a house that had been exposed to the flu (?) on Saturday. It
has cycled through everyone except me by Tuesday. I am working hard not to get sick.
Tuesday at Cabana's
This week my wife and I ate at Cabana's. I tried the Chipotle Shrimp. It was awesome, a little spicy, and full of flavor. My wife had the Chicken Scaloppini. She said it was great, it was full of flavor and spices too.
I have to tell you for the portions, calories, price and flavors, the meals that I have tried these past few weeks at Cabana's are much better than the national chain Applebee's Healthy meals that I mentioned above. I am just saying... I have compared. So, if you live in the Lake or Geauga counties, you need to go and try these lighter calorie meals at Cabana's.
I am looking forward to the weigh in on Saturday at high noon.
Until next time, eat less and move more.
Jason
