Another Great Meal

Hello,

I hope everyone is having a great week.
My week as been a busy one...

CABANA'S - Tuesday Afternoon

Another great meal, great service. I had the grilled Salmon with a Chili Sauce, that has a little kick. I like hot foods, so I was very pleased with the mild kick. I came on an empty stomach, and left full.
The protion is perfect size. I worked out at the Y, before meeting my wife for lunch. She went with the teriyaki salmon that I had last week. She enjoyed her meal as well. She said it was as good as it looked from my photos.
We had a surprise the owner (Mike Good) came by to our table to ask how were things. I felt personally connected to his story as some of my weight gain was related to losing close family members. He also mentioned his Chardon location, with larger patio and music entertainment, sounds like a perfect summer evening out.

YMCA

The treamills have a nice spring deck, similiar to the one that I am familiar with at home. I have also been trying various eliptical machines as well. My goal is to sweat more to burn calories.
CJ has been adjusting to playing in the treehouse.

A New Years Resolution Broken

I resolved not to eat desserts for the entire year, sounds impossible, but keep in mind that I have not had fast food, with the exception of Subway and Penn Station in two plus years and counting. Also, in the last year plus and counting, I have not had any gas station quick/fast food.  So, with that in mind my will power has been strong, but I caved in the other night to a red velvet cake with a little vanilla ice cream that I made for a special Valentines Day Meal. I think moderation is key. I found that I did not crave dessert foods, I just need to limit them.

Until next time, eat less and move more,

Jason
